“Single-use” is the 2018 word of the year
Collins Dictionary picked the term that refers to products often made of plastic that are made to be used once and thrown away. Collins says that the word “single-use” has seen a four-fold increase since 2013. See why Collins made this choice and some of the other word of the year nominees.
