A Hazardous and Special Products (HSP) disposal facility is a facility at which pesticides are disposed of.

HSP disposal facilities, also commonly referred to as a service provider, were required to register with the Authority by August 31, 2021. Producers, or PROs acting on their behalf, can only rely on service providers who are registered with the Authority.
To register, complete the registration form below and email it as an attachment to registry@rpra.ca.
Starting in 2023, disposal facilities of pesticides are required to submit an annual performance report and include the following information:
A description of how the pesticides were disposed of
The weight of pesticides received from an HSP hauler and their name, contact information and RPRA registration number
The weight of pesticides received from a person other than an HSP hauler and their name, contact information and RPRA registration number
The weight of pesticides that were received from outside of Ontario (if applicable)
The 2023 performance report will include the months of October, November and December 2021 in addition to the 2022 calendar year.
Going forward, the report will include the information from the previous calendar year.
